There might be an overwhelming amount of information that is available. We mostly receive a lot of news and updates, which might cause information overload. It could be challenging to different real information or news and to decide what is actually correct. Social media's nature contributes to the spread of fake information and news. Even though there are a lot of advantages to the media environment that we live in today, we as readers/viewers also need to be mindful of the possible drawbacks. Information overload: Media

Finding a healthy balance in the digital age:

According to statista survey, an average adult uses their smartphone for about three hours and fifteen minutes a day. the use of social media has been connected to higher levels of anxiety, despair and loneliness. People see five thousand adverts a day on average, most of which are found on social media. It's ethical that we create methods going forward for media consumption that are both healthful and educational. This might include putting time restriction on how much time spent on screen, taking breaks from social media, double checking the accuracy of the information we take in, and also ensuring that we obtain our news from accurate sources. Healthy Balance: Media

    1. It can be tough to tell the difference between false and accurate information on social media, but there are some things you can look for to help you determine what's real and what's not.
      - Look for sources: Does the information come from a credible source, like a news outlet or an expert in the field? If not, be wary of its accuracy.
      - Check the facts: Does the information make sense and align with what you already know? If it seems far-fetched or contradicts other information you've seen, it may not be accurate.

  7. What ever we see on television, news papers and radios is controlled by the government thats why we rely more on social media because its someone's thoughts, opinions or things they have experienced which we can rely on and they use this data to advertise what they think we might like. we get to choose what we wanna watch and choose to be happy so i would say it is healthy for us who watch healthy things.
